This 2022 project re-roofed Sacred Heart Church in West Warwick, Rhode Island, using CertainTeed Landmark shingles in Georgetown Grey. Church roofs are their own kind of work: steep pitches, height, and a building that has to keep serving its congregation while the roof comes off and goes back on.
Landmark is an architectural shingle, layered rather than cut flat, so it gives a large and highly visible roof a shadow line and depth. On a building at the centre of its neighbourhood, how the finished roof reads from the street is part of the job.
