This 2022 commercial project covered a brick corner building in Providence, Rhode Island. Urban corner buildings tend to be tight sites with limited access, parapets on more than one elevation, and neighbours close on either side, all of which shapes how the work has to be staged.
The finished flat roof gives the building a clean, even surface behind its parapets. On a masonry building the junction where the roof meets the parapet wall does most of the work of keeping water out, so that detail carries the roof.
